Exploring Career Paths with Inspiring STEM Alumni

Your opportunity to get information on career paths after your degree from women* who have started theirs!

Upstream has invited former upstream members, who have successfully entered their careers after studying a STEM subject at Heidelberg University! Our Alumni will visit us to talk about their personal experiences, after they finished their studies, how they got to where they are and what it is like working for their respective employers. We will be joined by two guests, Dr. Ruth Großeholz, who is working for Heidelberg University, and by Tabea Zuber, who is a big data analyst at Deutsche Bahn. First, they will give you a brief introduction of themselves and their career paths. Afterwards, it is time for your questions and a panel discussion.

You will get a chance to chat with them and ask them everything you want to know, like: What do I need to do, if I would like to work in academia? What was your application process like? Can I work for your company if I am not a German native speaker? ...
