The purpose of this Seminar (Proseminar) is to become acquainted with a scientific topic from visualization, based on one (or two) publications, respectively. Subsequently, the respective topics have to presented orally in a block seminar. A written report concludes the (pro-)seminar.

In particular, this includes:

  • Read and understand one (Proseminar) or two (Seminar) publications
  • Research and bring into context further related work
  • Oral presentation with slides (15-20 minutes for the Proseminar and 20-25 minutes for the Seminar), followed by a discussion
  • Written report (10-15 pages for the Proseminar and 15-20 pages for the Seminar, using 12pt font).

Please see the   guidelines for this seminar. Tips for a good presentation can also be found   here.
